One of Tammy’s nominators wrote: Tammy treats each patient with respect and dignity. She is always willing to help others and goes out of her way to make sure our team members have everything we need. She is always looking for better ways to make our patients feel comfortable in our hospital. Tammy comforts the patients with her confidence in her job.
Another nominator wrote: Tammy has been a nurse for many years and is still very dedicated to her profession. She is a go-to person for information or help and is an asset to the surgery team. Tammy recently had a difficult patient in PACU and she consistently exhibited comfort, kindness and reassurance to the patient as well as excellent nursing care. Tammy got warm blankets, talked in a soothing voice, and rubbed the patient’s hair until they calmed down. She is a great nurse!
