Tanya is very energetic and upbeat. The 1st day she looked at my husband’s incisions and did his wound management; she observed my fatigue and had me lay down and tucked me in with warm blankets. Her compassion brought tears to my eyes as no one has done something “motherly” for me in a very long time! It really meant a lot. Her care for my husband was equally compassionate. She got a waffle mattress for my husband’s bed and she and Tammy put it on while he was in the restroom. Tanya is one of those nurses who sees something (a need) and just addresses it without any note of whether or not it’s is something that could be passed to someone else to do. She just does it and moves on.
