Tara was so great. I was already worried about my mom when I arrived. She immediately responded with empathy and understanding. She shared that my job was to be the daughter and love on my mom and let them (nurses) do the tough care. It really gave me a sense of relief that I needed. I was able to get that special time of talking in my mom’s ear and telling her to listen to videos of her great-granddaughter and just being silly in hopes my mom could hear me. Not only that, they brought us snacks and water to care for us as a family in this tough circumstance. Tara helped get the ball rolling to get my mom moved due to my father’s emergency bypass surgery. Talk about Love and Care! So Thankful.

My father is VERY critically ill and in the ICU with severe cardiac conditions. My family and I are devastated, tired, and scared. Tara is his daytime nurse, and she is incredible. She is a knowledgeable, empathetic, and diligent RN. An example is my father had a last minute, urgent procedure. My family and I were so scared, but she guided us through everything. When he came back into his room, she took charge, calmly directing and guiding all other nurses and residents on lines, tubes, placement of poles, and expressed what was best for her and my dad. While doing all that, she answered all the questions we had and eased our worries. She had read his chart just hours before, but it seemed like she had known him for a lifetime. We weren’t just the family off to the side, we were a priority. Every time she entered or exited the room, she asked us if we needed anything. That's a DAISY Nurse!
