I want to thank Mrs. Shun for comforting me in my time of need. Mrs. Shun knew what I was already fighting against when it came to my illnesses. Then she notified me that another test was positive with c-diff. This might seem like a minor set back but to me, it was like life was over for me, too many illnesses made it seem like everything was against me and I should stop fighting and just let the devil win. Mrs. Shun let me cry out to her and she gave me a big hug and said that God will get the glory for seeing me through once again. I told her about how much the devil has taken from me, and how tired I am of fighting and two of the many reasons I won't give up are my son, whom I love the ground he walks on and will be a junior in college and playing football with Memphis University. And my mom, who has been my rock ever since I was diagnosed with Chron's and other health problems. Mrs. Shun said I have too much to do, like see my son playing football and cheer him on. I just want you to know that you were my rock today and gave hope and lifted my spirits from 7 am until 11 pm tonight. I didn't want you to leave and as you said you were leaving me in great hands and you were so right. But I knew you would be right back in the morning and that also kept me sane. The nurses in this hospital are special and very unique from others, and stand-alone. That is why Our Lady Of the Lady is a Magnet Hospital. I love you Mrs. Shun and thanks for not counting me out but lifting my spirits up.
