Our beautiful daughter was born premature at 23 weeks and 6 days. We had been over at Birmingham Women's Intensive Care Hospital for 4 weeks. She had a very unstable and rough start to life. But she was shown so much love by every nurse and doctor who cared for her. Unfortunately, we had to then take her to the children's hospital, to have major surgery. We had some very touch and go moments between surgeries, during those times, the one thing I thought of was how we hadn't really documented or made memories apart from mental images and photos.

But an amazing nurse had gone out of her way in her own time, to create a priceless book for us and (our daughter). Documenting her journey, her personal attributes, and body sizes like feet and head. It's the only item I would look for if the house was burning down. And she made that for us without even knowing us, or owning us anything.

She is one of the kindest, most genuine, beautiful people inside and out. And on our return to the women's hospital, she was the first nurse to have her on a full shift, and is the only nurse we would have picked. Our daughter needed the most love and comfort after surgery, and we knew that Taslima would give her more than enough! An incredible person, who is a shining star in the hardest part of our lives. You've given us a chance for our future.
