Tatum consistently displays care, compassion, empathy and kindness to patients, patient family members, co-workers and physicians on a daily basis. She is always willing to help other team members. Patients' needs always come first with her. When in charge, she keeps a check on other nurses and techs on the floor, all while taking care of her patients' needs. She has volunteered to stay and continue patient care when the next shift nurse was late due to an emergency. This allowed patient care to be continuous without an overload on other team members. She exemplifies professionalism in every situation, whether with patients, family members, team members or anyone else she encounters. She willingly and clearly shares knowledge and encourages others to share knowledge with her. Although nurses possess strengths in various areas, I feel she has many strengths, including clinical and assessment skills. She treats her team members, he patients and everyone she meets with respect. She goes above and beyond and deserves to recognized.
