Whenever I called for help, in no time, Taylor was right there near my bed.
I am 89 years old and have been coughing for a bit despite having taken medicine for this. It is a non-productive cough, tiresome that causes me to have shortness of breath. In the early morning at around 4:00 a.m., I woke up with an extremely bad feeling. Severe pain on my upper abdomen. I was so weak that I could hardly move so my granddaughter helped. My daughter brought me to the ER. After undergoing some tests, I was brought to my room and a team of healthcare givers, a nurse and 2 CNA's welcomed me. I felt at ease because whenever I called for help, they quickly responded. One thing, however, which I cannot forget to mention is that I was touched by the care and concern shown by my nurse. Taylor Hooper patiently listened to my complaints and assured me that she will talk to the doctor about it. It often happens that whenever I am hospitalized for some kind of illness, other problems present themselves almost at the same time. Taylor, in an attempt to make me feel better, gave me medicine for pain and wrapped my right leg with a warm blanket and after some time, the pain subsided. On day 2 and day 3 I observed that at any given time during the day or night, this nurse comes into my room to check on how I am doing and if I need something. Whenever I called for help, in no time, Taylor was right there near my bed. I greatly appreciated those gestures of kindness and care that made me feel like I was being loved by a sister or good friend.
