As an inpatient for asthma treatment and a recovering drug user, I believe my experience deserves extra compliments to my team, who were exceptional and compassionate to me when providing my treatment. Nurse Teena took time to discuss her psychiatric knowledge and taught me more than I've ever learned in other settings and put it into words that I can actually comprehend. She educated me on what I need to know about how to manage my many psychological diagnoses. Teena gave me advice on how I can actively work on relapse prevention. She was not assigned to me by anything less than my higher power.
