This nurse is very special to me. She came to work with respect from my point of view. The things that she has or if she has, or if she has any problems outside her job, she leaves it at the door before work. Which is wonderful, she works hard, takes great care of her patients and tries her best to help others. I’ve been coming in and out, and I have had many caregivers. This was the first time I ever came to this place feeling so bad I just wanted to give up. I cried to this nurse, and she let me know that I’ve come too far in life for that kind of situation. She told me, ‘You hang in there, and life is not easy, but I will do the best I can for you while you’re in my care.’ So, at the end of the day, she made me a stronger person and helped me to understand that some people really care about others. When she went home the next morning, I thought about the small conversations we had, and I’ve changed my way of thinking. She’s so wonderful. Thanks to having a very good nurse here at SJGH.
