Teresa was recognized by two patients for never entering the room without her big smile and bubbly personality. She not only made sure all of the patient's needs were met but made sure family members were comfortable too. She kept patient and family informed and answered all of their questions in a timely fashion. Her wonderful, positive attitude brightened the patient's day. She is very friendly and outgoing; one patient said that this was their first stay in a hospital and that her personality really made them feel at ease as if they were at home. She made jokes and shared personal stories that made the patient's stay comfortable and entertaining. According to the patient, she is a great role model for the nursing students she was training. One patient was impressed that Teresa even came to check on him the following day, even though she was not his primary nurse. To him, Teresa went above and beyond what an average nurse would do and she did it all with the best smile ever.
