My three-year-old is a very picky eater, who eats a variety of maybe five things. Mrs. Beam not only recognized his uniqueness and stubbornness but really showed great care and understanding. Not only did she learn about and fulfill my son's needs but also his interests and wants as well. Mrs. Beam searched the hospital seeking a specific type of cracker and a specific type of sippy cup. She even went and bought his favorite snacks out of her pocket.
From the moment we entered the pediatric unit, Mrs. Beam, instantly relieved much of the anxiety and stress. Her welcoming personality and positive attitude somehow seem to make you feel as comfortable and as at home as possible. Mrs. Beam is the rare type of person that you can tell genuinely cares and actually does want to help in any way possible. This woman is an amazing nurse and the type of person this world needs more of. She deserves more than a thank you and more than words can describe.
