Terri is no different from many nurses at Memorial as she gives excellent care to her patients, loves her work, listens to her patients and families, and works well with physicians, etc.

Terri is special though because she extends this great customer service past her assigned shifts. She often visits patients on her off days and brings some of her special patient "Angel Statues" that she purchases herself. She also visits some of her patients in the nursing home and most always attends funerals of patients that she cared for at the hospital.

One time she was attending a funeral of one of her previous patients when a guest needed CPR. Terri sprung into action and did CPR.

Terri is so special and goes above and beyond for her patients. She takes her work very seriously, not just as a job but as a nurturing human being. The patients and their respective families appreciate getting that individual attention. Having a nurse come up to visit you on their day off says a lot about Terri, and reflects positively on Memorial Hospital and the profession of nursing.

Isn't that why we got into healthcare - to make an impact on the lives of others - to make a difference! Terri does that in excess!!
