First, everyone from the volunteer making cookies (her pride in her activity/job was obvious), the cleaning staff, and the nurses are the best caregivers I've encountered in my 25-year career. I feel your protocols should be made a best practice. Thane was the nurse taking care of my father during his last night. His attentiveness, knowledge, and compassion were genuine. He had to start a peripheral line in my father. Thane took care to be gentle, such attention to detail. The care given to my father helped my mother and brother accept the events happening. Dying with dignity occurs at this hospital. You should be a Best Practice, and the people make the facility. Congratulations on the training of your staff.
