I recently spent two weeks in the hospital - the first four days in ICU. Tom was my nurse and I could not have asked for a better one. Tom is a terrific nurse and is it not just one particular thing but a combination of them. I suffered a very severe leg blood clot. I was very, very, scared I was not going to make it. It was almost like Tom was clairvoyant and knew exactly how to treat me no matter what happened. I had a clot, a UTI, pressure sores on my right leg and broken toes on my right foot. I can only describe myself as a "hot" mess. Tom seemed to know ahead of time what was wrong for what I needed and seemed to know what to do for everything that was wrong. In addition, he also seemed to always know what treatment would work the best. He is a very special nurse. Last but not least, he always had a smile on his face and cheery person. Patients who have him are darn lucky!!!
