Tia Hollis is an excellent nurse who goes above and beyond. When my son was admitted here, he was very afraid and anxious, and he cried for a moment. We came to our room closer to the end of the shift. Tia came to the room immediately. Although this was almost her time to give a report, she was very professional during her admission and kind and caring towards my son. She noticed that he was afraid and anxious. She asked if there was anything she could do to help. He wanted some "Doritos." She smiled kindly and said she was going to make it happen. The room's game console wasn't working, and my son was sad about it. After reporting to the next nurse, Tia came with some apple juice and a bag of Doritos! He smiled so big. Little after 7 pm, I thought she was gone, but she came to the door with a mobile game console. She apologized for taking so long to find it. My son was able to calm down and was not anxious or afraid. This is a perfect example of a caring nurse. She didn't rush to leave her shift; she made sure that her patient was comfortable.
