As a fellow Mission Partner, I could not have been any more satisfied or impressed with the care that my mother received during her recent hospital stay. Every single person who had a hand in my mother's care was so loving and kind, but Tia stood out above all. She had a way of making my mother feel like she was the only patient she had to care for, despite knowing that the unit was full and very busy. I felt a comfort like no other, knowing without a doubt that Tia would ensure my mother had the best care. She got to know my mother as more than 'just another patient.' My mother commented many times that Tia is a wonderful nurse and that she will have a long and successful career ahead of her. Tia went above and beyond, even sending a handwritten note home with my mother with encouraging words. Sometimes you just 'know' when someone is supposed to be a nurse, and Tia exemplifies every quality of an exceptional nurse at every turn. Tia practiced with the Greatest Care and Love, and I, as a daughter and coworker, couldn't be more grateful.
