Tim is not just a nurse but is an angel. Due to my mother's advancing illness there was little for her to smile about but as soon as Tim entered her hospital room she would absolutely beam. He always made her feel like she was his only patient even though we knew he had many others. Toward the end of her battle, she asked me if I could find Tim (Tim was not her assigned nurse that day), knowing that her time was short she became anxious and was eager to ask if he would sit in a chair next to her bed and hold her hand for a couple of minutes. I truly believe she was scared of what was to come. He immediately stopped what he was doing, grabbed a chair, held her hand, and began to talk about her garden. A miracle happened. She started to giggle with a smile that would have melted anyone's heart.
