Tonia is the very definition of going above and beyond for her patients. Whether it's sitting and talking with a patient, helping a patient get up, change a dressing, or getting them dressed. She advocates for her patient to the doctors. She also is a great team player. She still helps staff on the floor either with just rounds or helping staff with de-escalation with a patient. The patients usually say she has a kind face and is very easy to talk to. She also studies for RN Practitioner and works full time and still manages to have compassion and empathy for her patients. I'm proud to have her as one of my nurses.
