Toniya was our first nurse when we got to our room. As first time parents, and one recovering from a C Section, we had about a million and one questions. She patiently answered every one of them and calmed our nerves. She took care of us extremely well in her timed assigned to our room. She also drew from her own experiences as a parent and from her own family as she treated us like "real" people rather than just patients on her floor. She made hourly rounds to our room with other clinical staff to further explain and help us understand all the information that was being presented. She calmed our nerves and made us feel as comfortable as we can be as we navigate our way through being first-time parents. She went above and beyond the call of duty when tending to us and our family. She really is an extraordinary nurse!

She was an amazing nurse, super sweet, nice and funny. She was also awesome with my brand new daughter. You can tell she really loves her job. Not only was she personable, but also knowledgeable. She made this experience even better.
