My father was admitted to WMC and we all knew that this was the end for him, and at the age of 93, we were thankful for a long and interesting life. We spent the last four days of his life remembering the wonderful things and accomplishments made over his interesting and changing life. Everyone on the floor was wonderful to us and always took the time to listen to our stories.
The day our father passed, Tori was extra attentive to us and my dad's needs. She always assured us and my dad that she would not let him suffer or be in pain. After my dad passed that morning, Tori told us that she and the staff knew it would probably be his last day. She spent so much time with us during and after his death. She even took the time to make a remark on the online obituary.
Tori shared with us the death of her Grandfather and let us know she would take just as good of care of my dad. She made a lasting impression on our family and my only hope is that I as a healthcare worker, have brought peace to a family as she provided for us. I could see that Tori loves her job as a nurse. She is such a professional and caring nurse.
