Tori was my labor and delivery nurse twice with both of my sons. I was only 35 weeks along when I went into spontaneous labor with my first son. Things continued to go from bad to worse during my labor, and I had to have an emergency c-section and surgery to repair my broad ligament since it ruptured. My son also had to be taken to Tulsa to the NICU. Tori was with me every step of the way, though. I remember crying during the C-section, and she was the one telling me everything was going to be okay.

Once everything was over and I was back in my postpartum room, she came into my room even though her shift was over just to make sure I was okay, and she cried with me. Two years later, I came to the hospital for my scheduled c-section for my second son, and as I was sitting in the bed waiting to be taken back, she walked around the corner to tell me she was my nurse again. She never forgot me and was so excited I was her patient again in much better circumstances. She was able to meet my older son when he came to the hospital to meet his baby brother. It was one of the sweetest moments I will ever forget. I feel like she cared about me and my boys like I was her family. She was truly the best nurse I have ever had!
