Tracey is one of the most unique and pure-hearted individuals I have ever met. I have been an experienced nurse for almost 10 years. Tracey oriented me when I came to Kaiser L&D. Within the first several shifts we had three significant hemorrhages. Tracey not only was calm and collected the entire time, but was able to think one step ahead to anticipate the needs of the providers, nursing team, but most importantly the patient. Tracey was present, thoughtful, and intentional with the words she used, was able to reassure and calm a new mother during an incredibly scary time, and was able to perform at such a high level as a nurse and preceptor. Tracey is the kind of nurse who is here for the patients. She will do anything in her power to make sure her patients feel safe, part of the care process and decision making, valued, and heard. Tracey welcomes everyone with a smile and kind heart, patients and colleagues alike. She never shies away from a challenge, and is always quick to help in an emergency.
