She does not flinch in any emergency and handles each situation while teaching me with such grace.
As a new grad starting my career in a high-risk specialty, the support and encouragement I received from Trisha was incredibly calming. Her patience and ability to make me feel comfortable asking her questions is something I will always be thankful for. Her reassuring presence during my times of doubt never made me question my abilities. It isn’t easy to step back and put trust in someone you barely know, let alone a brand-new nurse. Everyone I’ve ever encountered would agree about Trisha. Her knowledge and wisdom are truly remarkable. She does not flinch in any emergency and handles each situation while teaching me with such grace. She genuinely cares about her patients, which is evident in her care. I can only hope to be half the nurse she is one day.
On days when I would doubt my potential as a nurse, she made me feel as though she never doubted me. No question was a stupid question, which, as a new graduate nurse, was refreshing to experience. I will forever be indebted to her for being who she is, and I feel fortunate to work alongside her. Anyone who is her patient is equally fortunate, and Trisha, I hope you know how grateful I am for you, and that it hasn't gone unnoticed how wonderful you were with me. Thank you for everything; I owe all my success in my future career to you. Thank you for being the person you are; those two little words will never seem sufficient. When I walk into work and see Trisha there, I feel much more at ease and confident that I can conquer any challenge that comes my way, knowing she is always in my corner. You are an amazing nurse. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
