Ttauri "Tee" Barron is described as a compassionate nurse who sees her patients as people first. For example, when a patient found herself in the hospital on the day of her granddaughter's wedding, Tee allowed her to use her personal cell phone so that she could receive pictures in real time of her granddaughter in her wedding dress and exchanging her vows. "Because of Tee and her compassion, my Grandma felt like she was there. Tee's willingness and excitement to keep the humanity of her patients shown through Tee was a Godsend."
Another patient's daughter shared that, at her request, Tee kept the well-meaning family from crowding her father and allowed him to get much-needed rest. "Tee saw why I had this concern and took over immediately from there. My brother was there for most of the day Saturday, but he told me that Tee was firm and quickly advised family that her patient needed to rest. By Monday, with a little rest and rehab, my dad looked 100 percent better and was able to get out of bed and remove the IVs."
