Tyesha was able to calm my crying, scared and pained mother and knew exactly how to reach her, while simultaneously providing unparalleled care.
Although the floor and nurses here have been nothing shy of incredible, Tyesha’s care for my mother, knowledge, patience, and overall amazing personality is an illustration of why my mother traveled here from Kentucky (and me from Georgia) for her surgery. Tyesha’s humility and kindness were awesome to watch, not only with my mom but with the patient in the next bed, who at one point, threw something on the floor in frustration. As with everything else, Tyesha handled it with grace, poise, and humor. She was able to convince my mother to eat and drink for the first time in her five-day stay. Tyesha was able to calm my crying, scared and pained mother and knew exactly how to reach her, while simultaneously providing unparalleled care. We are forever grateful. I am a healthcare professional and tend to be underwhelmed by care. Today broke the mold. Well done!
