Vianca is a lead nurse at KP Springfield Medical Center where she works with the Allergy team. She is described as very positive, professional, patient and a person who leads by example.
As you might imagine, patients who come in for allergy treatment—for themselves or loved ones might feel anxious or nervous. Some need to be tested for allergies and worry about having a serious reaction. And parents who bring their children in for multiple shots must observe their child in distress and pain in order to determine if their child has any allergies. Vianca consistently reassures families during these tough moments and puts members at ease by dispelling myths, providing good information, and engaging the physicians when needed to make sure all concerns are properly addressed.
Vianca exhibits high integrity and a strong work ethic too. Despite having extra duties, she is hands-on and doesn't exclude herself from the daily task of clinic operations. Vianca rotates along with her nurses to give allergy shots, conduct allergy tests, and assist the allergy doctors directly. As a lead nurse, Vianca is frequently asked to provide advice and leadership.
