Since the first day I became a patient at Harbor-UCLA, Chay has always been patient, friendly, and kind not only to me but to my family. The moment that stands out the most for my family and I was back in December when someone slipped. Chay became like Superwoman. Her empathy, care, and follow-up were amazing. Never had I felt so safe in a hospital environment especially after an incident like mine. Even now she makes sure to say "Hello" and to check up on me. I have been lucky because if I could I would give all the nurses on the 5th floor an award. Yet when it comes to it, the one who always gives me the push to eat when I have no appetite, drink when I am dehydrated, or to put on my lipstick when she knows I am feeling blue, has always been Chay. She takes care of my chemo and my well-being. Any team would be lucky to have her on their staff. My family and I know that thanks to her this journey has been a bit more bearable. I cannot thank her enough for all that she has done for me. Some things are simply priceless and she is one of those people. Thank you, Chay. May you continue healing people with your care and love!
