Vicki is always bright and smiling in her presentation to patients, their families and coworkers. During recent rounding with a patient on the Affective Disorders unit, the patient had related that Vicki sat with her for at least an hour, even though she had other things to do. The patient further related that during that hour "she listened to me cry and talk about my depression and she didn't judge me or tell me what to do, she asked me what I thought would help. Without her, that time would have been unbearable.
