I very much appreciated Vickie's assessments of my ability to hear and understand the care decisions being made on her watch. In addition to the various medical issues I was having at night, she had various IT people in to fix monitor problems. Her calm demeanor, clarity of explanations, and confidence in her medical skills was very valuable to my recovery. She was quick to alert MDs when my condition worsened. I have the impression Vickie would give a physician pushback if she felt I would benefit - my kind of person!
