Vicky has a way of making you feel safe.
Vicky is exceptional. Her personality, bedside manner, compassion, and empathy shine through everything she does. Her administering medications, the reassurance she gives by letting one know that she was here to help you and it's her pleasure to do so was heartwarming for me. Vicky has a way of making you feel safe. Vicky has an innate ability to pick up on a person's concerns and addresses them with compassion. I was afraid due to my diagnosis of AML.
One day I was crying when Vicky came into the room, went to the computer, and started her review and tying her notes. She noticed me crying with big tears running down my face. She stopped what she was doing at the computer, came to the beside, kneeled down, took my hand, looked into my eyes, and said, "From the moment I saw you I knew you were a great person and you don’t have to be afraid. You’re in a great place and we're here to help you. Don’t hesitate to call me for anything you need. Don’t cry, don’t worry, I care about you." Her words, her compassion, and her sincerity gave me such a feeling of security and hope. God couldn’t have done a better job. Thank you, Vicky Jang. You will forever be in my memoirs. I love you, Vicky.
