My husband just came out of emergency surgery in the early morning and was having significant pain. The combination of medications did not seem to be doing the trick. Vicky was so very pro-active getting on the phone with surgeons, pharmacists, etc. to adjust and control to get a plan in place for breakthrough pain. This hospitalization was my husband's third visit since initial low anterior tumor resection so you can imagine his overall level of frustration and fear for a full recovery. Vicky was so professional, pro-active, timely and on the ball with all medications and care for my husband all the while keeping me updated and informed. My husband's first connection with someone is usually very social and when I returned from home after a rest and shower, he enthusiastically said, "My nurse is so amazing at her job!". We have had amazing care on the two previous visits as well on both 5E and 4S.
