Victoria is constantly involved in different activities around the unit that not only benefit patient care but also help to impact clinical staff as well. From creating fun new ways for people to get to know each other on the unit, to creating different ways to elevate patient care, she strives to remain a positive presence in an otherwise chaotic field. Victoria has purchased supplies that are kept in a closet at the nurse's station and is constantly making sure that the unit's comfort cart items are stocked for the off shift when Volunteer Services are not here. She is always brainstorming new ways to go above and beyond and is actively involved in unit-based Practice, always seeking to generate new ideas and figure out a way to progress the unit into the future. When I think of a nurse who exemplifies selflessness and remaining positive in the face of adversity, Victoria certainly comes to mind.
