My father attended an appointment in the DVT clinic on Monday for a suspected DVT, and I just wanted to pass on my praise to your whole team, but especially to the nurse whom he saw in the clinic, Victoria Frimpong. My father was incredibly worried and nervous about attending the appointment, but from the moment Victoria started to speak, she put him at ease. 

He struggles with his hearing and often does not hear what medical/nursing staff are saying as they tend to type and talk (or mumble) at the same time, but Victoria faced him, so he was able to lip read and was very clear.  She had a sense of humor, which immediately made him feel comfortable.  

Victoria explained every step, and although she was clearly a very busy woman answering phone calls, she still gave my father the time needed. Victoria is an absolute asset to your department, and in a world where largely negative feedback seems to come through to the NHS, I wanted to thank Victoria and the team for making my father's appointment an extremely positive one.
