I have never met anyone like Viji; to me, she was a real-life angel in my time of need. I was in a very sudden and traumatic accident and was admitted to hospital in a state of complete shock. The way that Viji looked after and supported not only me, but my family, was absolutely amazing. She was paramount in not only my physical recovery but keeping me calm and making me feel supported at an incredibly vulnerable time. Viji is one of the most selfless people I have ever met and has every quality a Ward Sister needs. I came into hospital feeling scared and utterly shell-shocked, and 8 days later when I was transferred to another ward, I was actually sad to leave the amazing team on Ward 32 who had become more like family. Viji always keeps her cool, offers a loving and caring shoulder to cry on, and is a proactive problem solver who gets things done. I really want her to know just how much she changed my outlook and how much I appreciate her for being so utterly amazing. What a fabulous woman you are Viji!
