Over these years, I have watched Wanda make a difference in so many patients and their family's lives. She is hardworking and a valuable asset to the orthopedic unit.
The qualities about Wanda I would like to tell you about are her ability to communicate, show compassion, and provide comfort. She demonstrates this by making her patient smile and laugh in a stressful situation. I have observed this while she has worked with many patients having a difficult time walking after surgery or in post-operative pain. Her positive outlook reflects her patients that change is possible.
Wanda is a nurse that makes a difference in her patient's lives. She takes the time to talk with them, knowing about their family and interests. Often her patients want her back the next day and never forget her name. Many patients have written positive feedback about their hospital experience due to Wanda's nursing care.
