I was admitted for a scheduled surgery. Afterward, I was transferred to 6C. That night, I started having hypotension along with other symptoms. This lasted until morning. As soon as Wendy came in my room, she noticed my blood pressure and the change in my color. She immediately notified the staff, and they all came in. I was then scheduled for surgery that day, where I was found to be bleeding internally. Without Wendy’s Assessment skills, I’m not sure how much longer I could have gone on. I truly believe Wendy saved my life, along with the rest of the 6C day staff. The care I received was top notch.
