I love working with Whitney, she is always willing to help and go above and beyond for the unit, staff, and patients. I've witnessed her on many occasions go out of her way to help the patients and family members who she's taking care of. She brings a positive vibe to the unit and is always smiling. She will often ask, "how are you doing, are you okay?" She's always ready and willing to help out in any area. She is very attentive to her patients. She speaks to them in a calm tone and she treats them like family. She's a great nurse and a caring person.
Once I witnessed her interact with a family; their 1st child and the mom returned for a headache and Whitney was so attentive to the patient and her family. The patient was in so much pain she couldn't care for the baby and the spouse had to leave. Whitney cared for that baby as if it was her own. She didn't eat until everything with her patient was done. Also, when she works on MBU she is so attentive to her patients and family members. Overall, she's a great nurse and human being.
