There have been many days the clinic fell short of staff but not of patients. Willia not only delegates fairly but is willing to jump in and help. She might pre or post a patient when no one is available or she might jump in and help in the nurse clinic. She doesn't expect her staff to perform anything she couldn't. She makes time to talk with the Veterans when they have a problem and helps them come to an agreement or compromise that is suitable all the way around. She is an advocate for her staff under her and she will put herself out there and fight for them the best way she knows how to. She is a manager you can trust and know that you can go to her with problems and most times come up with solutions. When the flu season arrived, Willia was out there in the parking garage working side by side with the other staff making sure everyone had a break and got warmed up. She comes around almost every day to ask each of us individually how things are going. Thank you for your leadership and the respect you show us daily.
