As a mother as well as a Healthcare employee, I was terrified looking at my son gasping for air, O2 saturation at 77% while on our way to the emergency room. Because of the imposed visitation restrictions due to the pandemic, I was afraid of not being able to visit my son or getting a daily update on his status. However, Ximena refuted my thinking. Dr. O was extremely communicative and was a good listener, she would always call me and update me on my son's condition, plan of care and calmed down my fear. I eventually did not have to worry so much, I was confident that my son was in good hands.
Ximena always maintained a kind and caring attitude towards my son. Whenever I called, she never hesitated to answer my calls with a soothing and reassuring tone that I will always treasure.
