All the nurse's and CNA's in this department have been phenomenal, but some are just so special you have to call them out by name. These nurses are outstanding. One specific nurse spent more time with my son and conversed with me. Yanelli is a splendid young lady and a skilled, attentive, professional nurse. She, along with her co-workers, have been my son's lifeline as he lays day after day in the hospital fighting for his life. She does it all with a smile and pleasant demeanor. Our family is blessed to have the great care of everyone at DHR, but these nurses are a special breed! She is endlessly patient with our endless questions, always acting like she has all the time in the world for us. I know she doesn't. Nurses are the hardest working people on the planet!
