I was about to receive a cervical epidural for the first time.  While waiting for the procedure to begin, I was nervous and felt unsure, and due to my Parkinson's, I started to tighten up and go into spasm.  It was my nurse who relaxed me, assured me everything was going to be all right -- and ultimately put me at ease. In short, with her gentle, helpful, compassionate manner, Yeongun Jo is the type of nurse you want caring for you. 

Here are a few more reasons why I feel she is truly unique:

1) Patience: Takes time to explain what is needed from you before the procedure -- so what is about to happen to you is clear and understood.

2) Professional: Performs her job with a high level of professionalism -- so you have the utmost confidence in her.

3) Friendly: She has an extremely likable way about her -- so you feel comforted and secure to have a caring nurse like Yeongun there for you. What's more, she loves what she does, enjoys being a nurse, respects her patients -- and appreciates the satisfaction that comes with helping people.  There is absolutely nothing else she would rather be doing -- and it shows!

At the same time, I was lucky to have Yeongun Jo as the nurse who helped make my first Cervical Epidural such a success.
