Yosniel is extremely kind, caring, and respectful. Makes me feel secure and accompanied so that the hours of chemotherapy pass quickly and are nice. An excellent person and professional who noticeably loves his job.

He is the true definition of compassion. Every day, he greets and leaves his co-workers with a hug.  He is so positive and full of love that it pours into his care for our patients.  Sometimes, all a person needs is a hug, and it can make such a difference in how the day goes.  He is a great asset to Baptist Health.

He provided excellent, friendly, compassionate care to me as a Cancer Patient. His friendliness, smile and gracious demeanor even when not being my attending nurse was a joy to making my treatment as a cancer patient bearable.  His professionalism on the job was and is a credit to his commitment to the nursing profession.

It is with great enthusiasm that I nominate Yosniel for the DAISY Award.  I am honored to recognize him for his outstanding contribution and unwavering dedication to this unit.  He always arrives with a smile on his face and a positive greeting for his co-workers and patients.  Although he is responsible for his own patients and daily tasks, he is often found assisting his coworkers and patients not under his care.  He is an excellent communicator, hard worker, and consistently willing to go the extra mile.  His outstanding care is the standard that all nurses should model.  Yosniel is so deserving of the Award.

His encouraging words to keep fighting no matter how the going gets rough at times. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. I am glad I took Yosniel's advice. I feel good; the medication is working. I am enjoying and making memories with my grandchildren. “Never give up.” Be positive always. I look forward to his pep talk every three weeks.
