Too many nice things to say about Young! Nurse Young is extremely caring. I was really anxious when I first arrived, but her soft voice and smile continually reassured me. She checked in on me very often, not only when she was my nurse, but also two other days when she was the Charge Nurse. She promptly responded to my calls. I am a very hard 'stick' and had to have blood drawn every day. This caused me to be nervous. One day two other people tried unsuccessfully and Young said, 'let me give it a try' and she was able to draw my blood on the first try without any pain.

Young is such a special person and made me feel so good. This has been a difficult situation after three surgeries. Her compassion, kindness, and professionalism is impeccable. Adventist Glendale is very lucky to have her, but more importantly, the patients she touches are lucky. Her smile lights up the room. Thank you, Young, for making me feel safe, well cared for and for your attentiveness.
