My husband came to the floor from the ED. When we arrived, there was a 97-year-old (very alert gentleman). Maybe the 2nd night, Z was his nurse. Z was amazing. She showed such kindness. Today we were blessed to have Z taking care of him for a couple of days. What a delightful young lady. She has such a kindness about her that she makes even the pills go down better. She was knowledgeable and professional when she would ask, "How are you?" or "How are you feeling?" It was so genuine, and we felt she really cared. She was very in tune with her patients.
