My wife was in the Burn Center and Zoey was one of the nurses. It was evident from the very beginning that she was a very knowledgeable and extremely caring nurse. My wife's condition was beginning to deteriorate while Zoey was her nurse and Zoey obviously took a personal stake in doing what she could to help my wife get better. She was patient with me as I asked many questions and I felt she was truly an advocate for my wife in terms of getting the doctors to pay attention to her. When she left for a few well-deserved days off, Zoey came into our room and expressed heartfelt concern for my wife and family, to the point she was almost in tears. Having Zoey help take care of my wife was very reassuring. I want Zoey to know that she touched my heart with her care and compassion.
