I am a current patient of Dr. M in the Cancer Unit. I was admitted due to low potassium levels. I spent the first four days on the 8th floor. On Tuesday evening I was transferred to the 5th floor. During this time period, I met Nurse Zofia. We seemed to hit it off right away. Her attitude, demeanor, and sense of actual caring jumped out. There were many times I thought I was ready to be discharged when something new would come up and delay it. She kept my attitude strong by explaining the reasons why and would say maybe tomorrow. I was finally discharged on Friday. Her final act of going beyond her duties was going downstairs and getting me a wheelchair after we seemed to be waiting a long time for one to be delivered. I truly believe she is a DAISY Nurse.
